Paula R. Walsh resides in New Milford, CT where she has lived with her husband, Jack, and their three children, Robert, Amy and Ryan for the past 34 years. She attended the University of North Carolina and Western Connecticut State University as a Business and Marketing major. She began her media marketing career at Flight Line Times and was later employed at the NewsTimes as an advertising account representative for 9 years. In 1990 she joined The Litchfield County Times as a local and national account executive. Later in her position of Advertising Manager, she was responsible for the development of their monthly magazine sections, The LCT, Fairfield County Times and Westchester County Times; and later their successful quarterly magazine, Passport. After assuming the responsibilities of Associate Publisher in 2000, she was named Publisher in 2001 of both The Litchfield County Times and Housatonic Publications by the Journal Register Company of Yardley, Pennsylvania. Paula is affiliated with the Greater New Milford Chamber of Commerce, Board of Directors; New Milford Rotary, Publicity Committee; Ability Beyond Disability, Leadership Board; New Milford Hospital Steering Committee, Woman’s Heart Advantage; Brookfield Craft Center, Board of Directors; Brookfield Chamber of Commerce plus memberships in other local chambers of commerce.
